Service agreements are a central part of the performance framework. The executive and board of directors of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSW LHD) recently approved the 2020-21 Interim Service Agreement until December 2020. The interim agreement is an extension of the 2019-2020 service agreement until December 2020. The final agreement on 2020-21 services will be drawn up following the 2020 budget. Achieving these goals requires clear priorities, support advice and core-value-based collaborators: the framework defines performance improvement approaches, responses to performance problems and management processes that support achieving these results in accordance with government policy.
